I have to say, this movie really does not look like the best exhibit for Maria’s talents – we all know she’s capable of much more than this movie seems to allow her. Having said that, you have to admire her for taking on another very different type of role!

Nothing on Maria so far, but I thought some might be interested in general news about the films shoot in Connecticut
On Wednesday, “The Private Lives of Pippa Lee,” starring Robin Wright-Penn and Keanu Reeves, shot scenes inside Barca Restaurant at 93 Mill Plain Road. “Pippa” is an arty drama involving a woman whose husband has an affair.

Hollywood came to Derby Saturday, where parts of Griffin Hospital were turned into a movie set. “The Private Lives of Pippa Lee” stars Keanu Reeves, Winona Ryder and Robin Wright Penn. The director is Rebecca Miller, daughter of the late playwright Arthur Miller of Roxbury. Earlier this week, some scenes were filmed around the town of New Milford, and other scenes are scheduled to film in Southbury, Danbury, New Milford and Stamford. The drama is set to hit theatres sometime next year.
